I suppose that the "used to be a [insert critter of choice]" convention
is used because once the course is finished a participant is no longer a
member of the [insert critter] patrol of troop 1, Gilwell.
I'll be leaving for my final weekend of WB 82-66 in a couple of hours.
Perhaps I'll learn more about "used to be" then.
