The person I was talking about was born January '86. Elections were
conducted in his troop in earlyJanuary, so he was just 9 when his election
took place. I am not sure (haven't been a Weblos in a while), but I think
it's pretty close to impossible to earn AofL in that time. I'd say more
than likely, he skipped a grade, thereby completing the 5th grade early.

Actually, I think that he already went through an ordeal.

Fortunately, it doesn't happen that frequently. This year, we had one
9-year-old, no 10-year-olds, 5 11-year olds. and a large number of other
age groups.

I suppose this was possible. I am only the elections chairman. I only
key in the data on the election forms. I don't know what happens out in
the "field". You do have to remember, though, the fact that someone can
skip a grade makes all the difference.
