We work the Bobcat into our Tiger program. The boys work toward their Bobcat
with a goal of end of year graduation for receiving it. The parents get
really excited about it and will work with the boys so they can earn it by
the family campout. We have found that at least 2 of the parents like the
program we have adapted so much that they go on to become leaders. We
include Tigers in all activities and they receive their paws at each pack
meeting. They participate in pack fundraising (we just had a very successful
car wash followed by a picnic the pack provided) and they are active members
of the pack. It's working for us-maybe it will work for you.
