I have done this several times and it can be a memorable experience. One
Scout completed requirements for Star (I think) while 3 Troops in town were
on a High Adventure trip to Colorado several yeas ago. We held his Board of
Review on the way home on the train with leaders from all 3 Troops.
Several times we have held Boards of Review at one of our camps. The Ranger
is a Scouter who goes way back.

An Important point.
