Introduction

Hi, my name is John Van Blarcom, I joined this list this week. My son
recently graduated from Tiger Cubs and is now in a wolf den. I am the
den one leader and assistant cubmaster for Pack 1776 in Waldorf, Maryland.
We are a pack of about 20 boys.

I agreed to lead the wolf den and find myself jumping in with
both feet. The den meeting plan and Cub scout helps are very good, a
great improvement over the Tiger Cub book. The pack is planning a
summer day camp for the scouts. I plan to lead the sports and otherwise
help out. Suggestions are welcome.

What other scouting mailing lists exist? Is there another list that is
geared more towards cubscouting?

In the last log, there was a mention of a portable plywood table plan. I
tried the web address but no luck. Can someone post the plans?

I look forward to much learning and even a post or two.
