Female Leader Uniforms

Donald Wall (d.wall@NUNET.NEU.EDU)

I am certainly not interested in "keeping women in their place", as one
person suggested, but I am strongly in favor of the yellow/blue uniforms for
female Cub Scout leaders. The main reason (other than my opinion that they
are much better looking uniforms) is VISIBILITY! When new families,
unfamiliar with our pack, arrive, they can easily pick out the leaders, who
can help them with information. Also, during a crowded pack meeting, when I
need help with something, I can spot my leaders very quickly! Would I be in
favor of a yellow/blue or all blue uniform for male leaders? Absolutely!!
