Hello Paul -

Very well put!
We DO need to try our best to make sure that these well-identified
(uniformed) adults ARE "better trained"...at least in the methods of
Scouting <g>.
A uniformed Scouter also tends to be percieved as the "safe person to go
to" when a young Scout is overwhelmed by his surroundings. IMHO, we need
to try to restrict the use of the uniform to YPP trained and "screened"
adults (if for no other reason...but, there are LOTS of other reasons <g>).
y'all come,
Charlie II
