Discussion List Archive Policies

Effective immediately, any and all mailing list archives maintained by Scouter Magazine will adhere to the following policy regarding messages received by our servers:

  1. No illegal, pornographic, or profane material, including, but not limited to messages, graphics, or any type of attachment will be allowed on our servers or in our archives.
  2. Messages received for archival purposes on our servers are subject to the above policy and may be censored to meet compliance.  It will be the normal practice of our server to not censor messages unless they fall within the above category.
  3. It is the policy of Scouter Magazine to adopt any standards or rules from a mailing list that we archive on our server, as long as it meets the minimum standards we've established.
  4. Any person or person(s) found in violation of our policy will be removed from our server and have their e-mail privileges revoked.
  5. Any person or person(s) engaging in illegal activity will be reported to the local authorities for prosecution.
