Aloha,
Whether you are planning to celebrate the year 2000 as the first of the new
millenium or the last of the old, the place to spend a week or two in the
summer of 2000 will be Sea Base Hawaii, now in the unofficial planning stages
as a possible joint project between Aloha Council and Hawaii Maritime School.
However it works out, HMS will make a program of nautical Adventure Voyages
available to crews of six (5 youth, one adult) Sea Scouts, Venturers, Senior
Scouts, Venture Scouts and Explorers (LFL). Helping to plan is SSS Sea
Urchin. More updates as they happen. If you're interested, let me know.
We'd like to convince the council that you'll come to Hawaii.
