Ouartermaster Award

Bruce, I don't know why after 50 plus years it was felt the Quartermaster
needed to be suspended from a carrick bend or anything else. Its like
taking a Rolls Royce and putting mud flaps, fox tails, and a trailer hitch
on it. Tacky! The award without the carrick bend is decorative enough and
classicly understated. The Scouter's Key, Training Award, Medal of Merit,
and some of the religious medals do not have ribbon suspenders and look
just fine.
