Try tying two aluminum O-rings to one end of the 1" webbing. Leave some room
in the loop for the rings to slide about easily. Cinch by passing the free
end thru the center of the two rings, over the top of the first ring, then
back thru the center of the other. Pressure will hold this VERY tight, but,
with a little slack, you can easily slide the rings apart to "untie" the
ends.
