I found a summary at http://www.scouting.org/excomm/99annual/membership.html.

I would hardly call these growth figures to crow about:

Total Cub Scout-Age Youth 2,171,987 2,181,013 0.4%
Total Boy Scout-Age Youth 1,023,442 1,028,353 0.5%

Venturers 188,010 202,486 7.7%

Total Traditional Scouts 3,383,439 3,411,852 0.8%

Registered Adults 1998 1999 Gain/Loss
Total Traditional Leaders 1,208,842 1,207,762 0.2%

Registered Units 1998 1999 Gain/Loss
Total Traditional Units 121,799 123,935 1.8%

Take care,

John
