This just about sums up what I said in my letter to council last week,
withdrawing my company's support indefinitely at the council level.
Scouting at the unit level, which I will continue to heavily support, will
just have to hang in there until this self-destructive path that started
with the 1978 internal memo can be reversed.
As someone said earlier, Scouting made me what I am and gave me my morals.
Right now, I'm quite embarrassed and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
