Would the non-Americans off the NA continent please give me a ball-park
price range on a camcorder/video-camera that will produce a tape for YOUR
local VCR system.
The ones I find locally in the US are hi-end (Sony, JVC) and start at
$700, while local brands for US use can be had for $200. Is this price
gap the result of the highly specialized US market for PAL/SECAM, or are
these cameras really that expensive?
