More to the point, Scout Leader Training can always be done
one-on-one. Although this isn't ideal, it is doable, even across the
miles, as the trainee reads the syllabus and other readings under the
direction of the trainer. This is much like the British University
System of Learning, but without the face to face contact.
There have been a couple of time, when training wasn't available that I
have offered to do similar work over the Internet. It isn't ideal,
because you learn so much more in the company of others in your small
group, but it can be done.
