Reminds me of a very dry summer here in Wisconsin a while back. One of our
camps has Patrol cooking and had always used charcoal. This summer it
wasn't allowed, so the week before camp opened the Council's camping
director scoured every discount store in the Fox Valley to get enough
propane stoves, tanks, etc. to so they could cook. A few weeks into the
season they had to move all the stoves out of the campsites because it had
gotten drier and for several weeks they had all the stoves lined up in the
parking lot and everyone cooked there.
