"MANDATORY SIX HOUR TRAINING TO TAKE WEBELOS AND SCOUTS CAMPING

This was announced by Chip at the Cub scout weeks. There will be a
ninety day grace period if you have had OWL or SMF.

Scout Executives will be given the announecement on August 1, 2000.

Lots of other new changes."

Just curious, but what would be covered in six hours of mandatory
training that is not already covered in OWL (actually WLOT, although
I like OWL better. Owls are the best critters after all!) and SMF
(now BSLBT)? Having taken both of these recently, and trained WLOT
several times, I can't imagine what would be covered that hasn't
already been addressed as part of the syllabi for these two courses.

Perhaps Jim could enlighten us.
