A question for the venerable LIST.
Last year the Troop had a growth spurt (16 new scouts) and expect another
this year (14). The problem I faced last year was getting all the new scouts
through the requirements that take individual action. For example, the five
mile compass hike.
My question is, do we have to have separate hikes for each individual or
can this be a cooperative 5 mile hike comprising 2 or more scouts all
contributing to "finding the way with the compass."

How do you handle this?
Save band width and reply off list. I will compile the answers and report
back.
