Good question. And on with Scouting. We use the sheet, but have learned to be flexible. We call it pre-opening. Pre-opening is at 7:00 PM and opening is at 7:10 PM.
We try to do things that Scouts can join in on as they show up. Star gazing, rope making, untie the human knot, games like Duck Duck Goose. Anything that can be started and stopped without losing the aim of the activity.
