Have any of you been watching the "Survivor" show on TV?

I taped the first episode and showed it to a group of Scouts with two
questions before them.

1. Point out all the things the "Survivors" did wrong
2. How would the "Patrol Method" have helped the group to function
better.

Wow. I was very pleasantly pleased (but not surprised) at the responses I
got. These boys were sharp and picked up on many things that got past me.

The best part was the feedback they gave about the Patrol Method and how
they could relate to some of the conflicts the "Survivors" were having.
They especially liked the idea of voting out those who didn't pull their own
weight or caused conflicts. I'm not encouraging that part of the plan,
instead I questioned them on how they would handle a disruptive individual
within their patrol since voting them out was not an option. Verrry
interesting answers. Everything from group intervention to "kicking their
butt" (also strongly discouraged).

Just wondering if any of you have been following the show and what your
thoughts were on drawing a parallel to Scouting.
