Cooper,
I have tried to subscribe to that list. Could you please send me the
subscription info so I can try again.

On your original subject - 23 Years ago I was in an outfit that
traveled all over the world providing flight following information for
airlift control. I worked closely with the Mobile Communications Groups
that sent co-ed teams out to remote sites to set up and maintain
aircraft aids-to-navigation systems to ensure air to ground control of
the US aircraft flying in Europe. Their rules of conduct included:
Bring a bathing suit - everyone showers/baths in a swim suit. A
husband/wife or engaged couples may not be members of the same traveling
team. If she says, "No/Stop!" that's it! Further activity of this
sort will be dealt with back at home station, within the week!(It
sometimes took a week to get back to civilization as we knew it, from a
few of these really remote sites. Transgressors lost their team
positions, frequently a stripe or two, and equally frequently some
pay...and THEN they could explain to their wife/girlfriend why they had
been hammered!). That unit had little problems between the sexes, and
this was in the very early days of the co-ed Air Force.
