Dear Scouts-L List Members,

I would like to first apologize to this list that the issue of my e-mail
list keeps appearing here. I have tried very hard to answer privately the
concerns of those who have seen fit to complain in his open forum that which
should be a private matter between them and myself. I take all requests for
removal VERY seriously and try hard to honor them when received. As I deal
with thousands of Scouter's, there have been times when I have not been
successful on the first try. In those instances, most of these issues can be
resolved immediately by contacting me privately by any of the means listed
at the end of this message. I will honor all such requests.

I am in hopes that the members of this list that have such issues can stay
focused on Scouting matters, when posting to this list, that can benefit us
all and not waste bandwidth on private and personal matters that do not
belong in a public forum. Again, I apologize to the list that this has even
been posted here.

In the case of Mr. Sheehan who posted the message, it seems I do owe him an
apology (which I have made privately to him as well) as my filter did not
pick up his requests to be removed. (It is not a perfect system). I have
since honored his request, and continue to honor both requests for removal
and opting into my Scouting list on a daily basis. I am a very dedicated
Scouter who only wants to bring good quality resources to our movement. I am
quite proud of what I am doing.

Rather than waste the good Scouters of this list time, I beg anyone who has
a personal request, either for removal or anything else, to send me a
private e-mail to: dave@usscouts.org, or snail mail me a letter to: Honor
Publishing Company, P.O. BOX 45643, Kansas City, MO 64171, or call me at
816-668-4641. I will be happy to take care of any requests in a timely
matter. I do not know how to be any more accommodating than that. I can only
promise to do my best to honor all reasonable requests.

Sincerely,

Dave Tracewell
