I've used this secret for many years and endorse it. It's a heck of a lot
cheaper, cleaner, and safer than homemade firestarters.

BTW I only carry these firestarters for emergency use. I always use natural
tinder for starting fires and teach my scouts how to do the same. I see
absolutely no reason for cigarette lighters in a scout's (or leader's) gear.
My scouts know how start a fire in any downpour with native materials. It's a
lifesaving skill all scouts (and leaders) should have. After all, paraffin
firestarters, paper, sterno, cigarette lighters, gasoline, even matches may
not be available when you need them to get a fire going in an emergency.
Don't teach your scouts how to use crutches!

Scout Motto: Be Prepared. Preparation is more than having a pocketful of
cigarette lighters and paraffin. It also means skill and judgment.
