In following this thread, it seems like people are seeing e-mail and
other communications as an either/or. I don't see it that way. It's
an addition to. Want to get word out on an upcoming event? Tell the
boys. Publish it in the troop newsletter (hard-copy via mail).
Announce at Committee Meeting. And, send the newsletter via e-mail.
Bottom line, in my opinion, is that e-mail is ONE MORE communications
channel. Use it if available, but also use every other way possible
to communicate.
