A Scouts-L member has reported he has discovered that some of the e-mail he
has sent in html format offlist may have been infected by the kak.worm. More
information on this worm is found at:
http://vil.nai.com/vil/wsh10509.asp
On the first of each month the worm displays a message "Kagou-Anti-Kro$soft
says not today!"
All Scouts-L members are advised to use anti-virus software and to update
their anti-virus software regularly. Properly updated anti-virus software
should detect this worm and provide for removal. Contact your anti-virus
software vendor for additional information or visit their website. We do
not regularly report virus warnings unless they impact list members. Before
posting a message about a suspected virus or malicious program please check
with the listowner.
