Before we begin let me state that I understand the need for an
alternative publication. I just sent a check to another NEW alternative
Mag for Scouters.

Let me further state that my father, out of a need to feed his kids,
started a small business in competition to a goliath. All of us who had
two hands and drivers license were REQUIRED to help out. It paid the
bills, fed the mooses (us kids), sent us to college and helped with our
weddings. My brother further went into partnership with my father when
he came of age, and has done likewise with his kids off this small
business. My mother and his daughters in law (one being my wife) still
do the books, yada yada yada. So spare me the song and dance about
understanding the needs of a small startup!

Now to the point at hand: As this has been going on for YEARS and
clearly they have failed to deliver on a PROMISED timely or reliable
basis, and have no means to deliver the product on a timely basis, can
some of our more learned Law Enforcement types, (including a US
attorney I know reads this list) comment on when continuing to solicit
customers to prepay for a product of which delivery is dubious becomes
some sort of fraud or violates some other interstate or postal law.

BTW: I mentioned no names or companies in this article. Any company you
associate with this article is because you formed that opinion yourself.
