How's about:

We, Your many children of many beliefs,
    United in a common cause,
    Offer this - our thanks....

then the speaker lists specific thanks for
      fellowship, food, etc.

Add a "moment of silent reflection" so that
each person may according to their own beliefs
    observe their own religious need....

Follow up with a simple "AMEN".

"A Scout is tolerant to the beliefs of others"... and
with the above intro acknowledges what the Scout Handbook
tells us, but sometimes we forget.

No one should be offended, every has their own special
moment of silent reflection/prayer.

My sons and I were rather offended by a summer camp
"non denominational" religious service last year. It
is safe to say that any Jewish scout, Buddhist scout,
etc etc would have been offended because the minister
(I am certain that it was unintentional - what he was
accustommed to stating in his own church every week)
laid out the path that one must follow to reach the
promised land, and if you didn't, well be prepared to
face the music.

But this is line of thought is probably too close to the
3 G's anyway.
