Anyone got any practical use for old tents, other than donating them to the
local programs for the needy scouts, out troop has a collection dating back
to 1964.
They tend to
have no fly (never had one) and damaged/missing zippers
or
too many poles and fittings
or
heavy
or
plain canvas-like fabric
or
older model and discontinued pole sets are lost
We recently re-equipped so all tents on a trip are the same and of good
quality.
