Hi Jay,

The best place on the Internet to find out when a council started
or ended is with Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) collectors. They
need to know this for their collecting hobby.

One of the best web sites with this type of information is one run
by Kevin Doyle and Steve Narolski called "firstCSP." You'll find
it at: http://community.hei.com/scouting/firstCSP/

You'll also find council histories (start/end dates) in some of
the CSP collector's guide books too.
