Hi All

Anthony and Calvin said it wonderfully. There is nothing more rewarding for
adult leaders than boy run. The adults job it to insure each individual Scout is
growing in character, fitness, and citizenship. That job requires us to spend
95% of our time with the Scouts standing back away from the Scouts. That other
5% is what makes Scouting great.

One last note, I've watch a few units with dominating adults trying to change
from adult run to boy run. The only ones that made progress found another boy
run Troop to learn and model their program. If you don't understand or trust boy
run, you have to see it first. Remember, we call it boy run, but it's 100% the
adults who build a boy run program. If it's not in the adults heart to trust the
boys with the Troop, it won't happen.

Hey everyone, have a great Scouting week.
