Bob,

   I'd have to agree with you. Our council didn't even have the annual
calendar ready for the August program launch and now they're scrambling to
get units to commit to doing a display/booth/activity/whatever at next
month's Scout Show in the largest area shopping mall (Boy, do we get exposure
there!). Problem is that most units set up their own schedules back back in
early- to mid-August and they're not changing them. Heck, the date for the
Scout Show wasn't even definite until November. If the units had known that
a Scout Show was on the calendar, even if the date had to be moved a week,
they'd made plans to be there. And I can't be there this year as I've made
camping plans based on the Show being the earlier week. Oh, well.
