INterresting reply by Mike - as always. However, I also want to
add one fact that I know was an input. The campfire program
was going COED - and had already created a YOUNGER boys program
called BLUE JAYS - and in fact were signing up families of
the same age as the original Tiger program - which then also
moved to Kindegarten - as did Tigers (again - after Campfire
already was signing up boys) Our family experiemented with
the program for our older son - NO TIGERS yet, since it
allowed our Son and Daughter to both be in ONE program
"camp fire" can have programs at the same summer camp!
Sure made like MORE complicated after they switched to
Boys Scouts and Girl scouts - after the "experiment"
ended. But for a time - BSA was losing BOYS to camp fire!
