Hi WA-BobT, and Scouts-Lrs,

Bob I am glad you bought the advancement booklet and hopefully
you will share it with Rusty.

NH-Dave already has pointed out the red one #33088B r>1999
is the latest one. It even has a new title
"Advancement Committee" Policies and Procedures

Not too different from the previous version.

One thing I have found to be careful of when I go to a =

Scout Shop to buy a book or booklet is the date level.

In my case, and I have read from others as well, OFTEN TIMES
old literature is left on the shelf to sell. ONLY after the
old stuff is sold does the shelf managing person find out
that OOPS!! BSA replaced that item with a new one and then
places an order.

Some Scouts-Lrs HERE have indicated they felt this was done =

on purpose YET that hasn't been my personal experience.
Usually if I tell our person about the situation they go ahead
and start to perform the replacement by ordering the new.

I recommend that you always check for the proper date level
via the Bibliography of Scouting Literature usually located
in the shop sometimes behind the counter. I do the same with
Merit Badge booklets before buying them using the 1999 =

Requirements Booklet.

YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
