advancement questions

Bob and Rusty Taylor (brtaylor@TELEBYTE.NET)
Mon, 6 Dec 1999 07:56:18 -0800

I know that MIke Walton and others have already said this, but I finally
did it and want to second their suggestion; get a copy of the current
advancement policies and procedures handbook! it answers many questions
that I have asked about the subject in a very straight forward manner and
really simplifies the subject to have this resource on hand.

for example, the differences in how advancement works in Cubs and Scouts,
the difference between what the committee is charged with doing in Cubs and
Scouts, etc.

one question though:) is 1998 the current edition? it still speaks about
Exploring, but not Venturing.
