Just a reminder that if you are planning on a Philmont trip this =
year, you need to make travel plans now. My troop here in Amarillo, Texas =
makes their building available to scout units on their way to or from =
Philmont at a low, low price. Just $3.00 dollars per person per night =
will get you a place to put your sleeping bag, take a hot shower, and =
relax before hitting the road. Amarillo is splat-dab in the middle of =
the Texas Panhandle along I-40 and a great rest stop from the Dallas, =
Houston, and Austin areas. We will begin taking reservations after =
January 1, 2000 and will fill up fast. Send a post card with your return =
address to:=20
Terry Slade 5122 W. 16th Amarillo, Texas 79106-4419
and I will send our reservation packet out to you with all the special =
forms. Please pass the word around at your Roundtables and other scouting =
functions about our offer.
YiS Terry
