Hi Julie!

The "Three Gs", Julie are:

*Issues and topics dealing with GIRLS in Cub Scouting or Boy/Varsity
Scouting. Venturing and it's predecessor, Exploring, has been co-ed for
close to 30 years.

*Issues and topics dealing with openly GAY, bi-sexual, or lesbian
individuals as volunteers or professionals within the Boy Scouts of America.
Those whom do not disclose or "show" their sexual orientation are permitted
to serve as volunteers.

*Issues and topics dealing with "GOD" or the religious aspect of being a
Scout or Scouter, to include the exclusion of some faiths from consideration
for religious emblem "recognition" and the inclusion of some sort of "faith"
or "being higher or more powerful than ones self" as a part of the
evaluation process toward rank awards in Boy Scouting.

("GOD" is in quotation marks, because even that is cause for some to discuss
how one faith's application or lack of application of Scouting within their
religious body affects or doesn't affect the overall Scouting program. As we
all know, Julie, one's "God" is someone else' Buddha, Mighty Spirit, Jesus
or Holy One.)

Hope that helps out!

Settummanque!
