Cathy and the List -
As far as the Merit badges earned at camp are concerned, contact the Council
Director of Camping, explain the problem and see what solution he has.
There should be some records from camp.
We had this happen a few years ago when my son's Troop went to summer camp
out of council. Upon returning from camp, the SM told me that my son didn't
get any merit badge credit, even tho he was enrolled in 5 classes! He
explained that they did not use "blue cards" and, when he tried to confirm
badge work, the counselors had already left the reservation.
Being the concerned AND persistent Mom that I am, I wrote the Director of
Camping at the Council where they camped and he very graciously researched
his records and sent us confirmation of all badge work completed. What a
relief, since three of these badges were Eagle required and I couldn't see
my son willingly doing all that work again!
