Scott, ... you're right except from our prespective as Scouters we
heard clearly and focused on the comment that the Boy Scouts acted
quickly and ".Threw him Out" !

However much later in the program, after a commercial break, here comes
Barbara "We return now to the story of the scoutmaster molesting boys " .
This was a lead comment, after they had already reported the BSA quick
reaction. Hre's my feedback to ABC:

Hundreds of Thousands of Adults volunteer their time money and energies
to bring a great program to millions of boys day after day through
Scouting and other youth activities. The events reported by Ms Walters
obviously happened and they should not have. The parents and leaders of
Scouts are dilligent in their efforts to prevent these things from
happening. This is not a perfect world nor will it ever be.

But where was the balance in this story. The short comment that this is
not the norm in the Scouting program; or a salute to the thousands who
give their time to youth responsibility.

Shame on you, Barbara and ABC. You have the right to report. But how
about more balance in these type stories and less Tabloid Reporting.
