I didn't see the show, I did read the transcript and replied to 20/20 on
the web site.
Basically I told them I thought that they didn't touch on Walls being
kicked out of Boy Scouts of America except for one line and even after
that they still refered to Walls as a former Scout Leader and abusing
the boys in "his troop." Not to mention the fact that they called his
Pack members Boy Scouts.
I also said to be fair, maybe 20/20 should do a show on the BSA Youth
Protection Training and the youth videos (like A Time to Tell) to help
the boys identify these kind of people and know it's not their fault.
Will be interesting to see if I get a response, I thought my best line
was that it seemed all 20/20 was interested in doing was to
sensationalize this and if that's the case, they should replace Barbara
with Geraldo or Jerry Springer.
