Actually, for a period of time in the 50s & 60s, National used to do this.
There were Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Explorer Program Quarterlies. These
were discontinued around 1966 or so, and the material incorporated into
Scouting mag. But you'd only get the issue with this material IF your
primary registration was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, or Explorer unit leader.
This practice continues to this day.

Frankly, I'd rather see more information, program stuff, literature then
less.

How about bringing back some of those great Boy's Life reprints??
