Hey to all,
I have been cooking the adult meals on camp outs for our Troop for years and have been reading these e-mails with great interest. The only problem I have with them is, are we really going to slim down the old Scouters by serving them two or three "low fat" meals on one camp out per month? There is at least one diet out there today that says it it not the fat that is the problem, but rather all of the sugars and carbohydrates that we consume and the combinations of those two with fats. I think we sometimes "over worry" the low fat thing especially in trying to change someone else.
