Adirondack Canoeing

Our troop is planning a high adventure trip next year to the
Adirondack's to do some canoeing.
The question; We have our own canoes, 10 17' Grummonds, and a canoe
trailer, and we could probably get them there with no problem. However
we want to look at all the options, includng renting canoes and just
driving ourselves and our gear to New York. Also the possibility exists
of portaging with lighter canoes if we rent a lighter 'glass or kevlar
canoe.
I digress however. The question is does anyone know of any outfitters
that we could contact regarding canoe rental ?
Thanks for the help, this list is great !
