An Introduction...

Hello!

I am new subscriber to this list and would like to introduce
myself. My name is Samuel Buchanan and I have recently accepted
the position of Den leader for my son's local Wolf Cub Den. We
are Pack #149 in the Northeast Georgia Council .

I'm looking forward to working with the boy's and I believe it
will be a good experience for my son as well as myself. I would
be lying to say I'm not a bit nervous, as I want to make the
program fun and beneficial to all involved. We had a Tiger Cub
Den last year, which unfortunately, was managed rather poorly.
As a result several of the boys dropped out. That is another
reason I volunteered, I hope to keep the program a bit more
entertaining and organized than what they experienced last year.

I would definitely appreciate any tips or suggestions,
especially in keeping order during the meetings and ideas for
opening and closing ceremonies. We have a rather large Den (13
so far). I hope to do quite a bit outdoors as long as weather
permits.

Thanks!

Samuel Buchanan
