Hi Carol,
AD/HD often goes hand in hand with other co-existing disorders. We
often see it with depression, oppositional defiant disorder, obsessive
compulsive disorder, learning disAbilities and others.
I don't know that the experience you had was dangerous, but I would be
concerned about talk of suicide and I would take it seriously. At the
very least, I would have a very serious talk with the parents.
