dehydrating tofu

just finished our last 50 miler--it was a great adventure. my food menu was
a quantum leap forward from our last trip, and I am working on some other
ideas.
anyone out there have experience with dehydrating tofu? I ask because there
is a very good tasting powdered pudding mix that requries the addition of
tofu, normally a pretty wet and heavy item. if I can dehydrate it, then the
mix will be usable for extended hikes.
