Dear Scouters, including Mr. Brewer and Mr. Finder,
It appears from these postings that you disagree with the NJ supreme
court decision. Please be aware, however, that many scout leaders find the
current BSA ban on homosexuals to be ethically unsupportable, based on bogus
claims that homosexuality is linked with pedophilia. I, for one, find the
New Jersey decision to be long overdue. A formal change in BSA policy to
remove this ban will be welcome. It's just too bad that National held on to
their position so long that it ended up in the courts.
