We have used the meaning of the flag folding as a opening ceremony a few
times, however, the meanings that we have used are slightly different than
what the American Legion has listed. This version I received while working
for the Air Force. They used this flag folding ceremony during a change of
command ceremony for the Lt. General. I really liked it and our secretary
was nice enough (and knew who do get it from) to get it. Its on our troop
site under Resources.
