What we chose to do was display all the various letters from dignitaries,
along
with pictures and accounts of my son's eagle project. However, when it
came
to the ceremony itself, I selected 4 representative letters from various
regions of the county.....................
....from members of THIS list. These to me were sincere and very
meaningful
since they come from you folks who know the effort that is required to
achieve
Eagle rank, and specifically come from the real role models that should
be
thanked for the time and effort you put in to affect the lives of these
young men.
I made a feable effort to convey this during the ceremony, but got too
choked
up to have it come out just right. I later stated the same thing at a
training
session where many of the same scouters who were at the ECOH were in
attendance.

Take a look in the mirror folks.....there are the true heroes in our
society.
