Fellow scouters,
I stand before you with my head bloodied but unbowed.
We could argue the advancement program until we are all blue in the face but not
reach a firm conclusion. However, why does the advancement committee conduct a
board of review? If all it's going to do is rubber stamp a scouts having met
certain qualifications why not call it an advancement board?
Please re-read my original post and look at the spirit and intent of the entire
message - not just certain sections.
It is only the very very rare 13 year old that has the leadership ability to
inspire 16, 17, and 18 year olds to follow him.
