Re: Bumper sticker & 50-miler questions

It may a local thing, Mark. Check with your Council office...they may have
had them made up special for the Cub Scout parents in their Council as a
promotional item when their son became a Cub Scout.

I don't see it in the current or past two catalogs.

As a holder of EIGHT 50-Milers, I can tell you, sadly, nope. There is no
device, emblem or pin you can add to the 50-Miler patch. I got smart after
the first six 50-Milers; I went out, bought one of those plain plaques,
applied a leather 50-miler patch to it, and on the large engraving plate, I
had the guy to engrave the year, unit, and location onto the plate.
When we had more space in the officeroom, it had a nice place behind my desk
and off to a corner.

I guess one can do a larger one with the fullcolor patch, but that small
50-Miler leather patch was just right. I've got another one sitting on one
of my backpacks (Jessi, wanna know what I've forgotten??? *smiling*).

Settummanque! (going on a day hike this weekend with some Honduran Scouts!)
